Introducing the debut tape by Antimonument, a one entity project from Brazil that blends black/death and elements of power electronics. Consisting of six tracks, this first available recording shows sonically a punishing war metal style with plenty of memorable moments. Pushing in a slightly newer direction with each track, there is a wide array of influence blended into one cohesive mix. With each rolling, driving riff bands like Diocletian and Proclamation come to mind and with each varied breath enters electronics that bring forth the likes of Prurient. There are even tracks dedicated to atmosphere where elements of slower paced doom come into play.

Very few projects start in the mind and end up sounding proper but this debut shows that there are still unique entities out there in the world of black/death.....it's only a matter of time before they emerge.
