This one man project was created by a biologist and multi-instrumentalist who writes blackened doom in the form of avant-garde metal centered around the ocean and what the scum of the earth have done to it. While simultaneously blending black metal, doom, choral arrangements, and drone, Escaping Aghartha takes the listener on a journey just exceeding 1 hour and 20 minutes. Filled with atmosphere and intended underwater soundscapes, you'll be thrusted below the waves only to be met with the plight of life thousands of feet deep.
