Red Door Records is proud to announce a split between MESSIAH IN THE ABYSS and OPPRESSIVE DESCENT entitled "Skull Bifurcations of Grim Disintegration".

After multiple successful yet underrated releases from both artists, a partnership came to mind and this is the grand culmination. With both artists being composers of great proficiency, the entire split unfurls in a truly outstanding fashion.
Messiah in the Abyss consumes the first side and crafts two separate tracks essentially combined into one. Forging melodies that bind across the emotive spectrum, Zarathustra the Dead does equal in part corrupt as well as ascend. In the times since the last release, it's clear that the project has been evolving into an even more advanced one with writing abilities strewn across all forms.
Oppressive Descent rides across the second side triumphantly with two main tracks divided by an instrumental. Grond Nefarious picks up where the debut album left off and even expands upon it. A continuation if you will. The project stays rooted in it's abilities to invoke scenes in ones mind and firmly stands in doing so.
Ultimately this is a profound effort from two of the absolute best doing it in the entire scene. Both craft track structures unlike any other these days with unrivaled tones and melodies. This is a split between two people, not full bands. Soak that in.
